Materials already in stock may be used in a school situation. For resources for levels 1/2, the GCSE information sheets in French, German, Italian and Spanish might be helpful. For Level 3 teachers should consult the A level information sheets in these languages.
- The BBC's Language Learning web pages have a wide range of materials suitable for adult learners. The full languages programmes schedule may be accessed from their Learning Zone site. There is also the BBC Talk Languages sections, such as Talk Spanish, plus interactive videos for brushing up, such as the Ma France microsite.
- For details of penfriends useful for personal information there is the Correspondants francophones.
- The Office du Tourisme de Paris and the Italian Mega-Zone provides photos of sites and maps etc for practising asking the way.
- For menus and prices teachers can try the Theodor Restaurant website (German) or the Italian website Dove Andiamo a cena stasera? For recipes there is cocinadelmundo.com.
