GCSE/Applied GCSE French

GCSE is still the main qualification offered by schools at KS4, although according to CILT’s Language Trends 2007 research, schools using alternative accreditations rose from 22% in 2006 to 39% in 2007. GCSE courses are offered by AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CCEA and WJEC.
