The teacher continues the discussion about the differences between cuisine in the north and south of Italy by providing some comparatives on the interactive whiteboard. This acts as scaffolding for the students to produce their own sentences orally. This clip is a good example of a teacher discussing grammatical concepts with students in the target language. The students are then given prompt cards to help them to produce sentences of their own using comparatives. This ensures that all students contribute to the oral work.
