EDL at school

Since 2001 and the European Year of Languages, schools across the UK have been organising events to join in the celebrations on 26 September. Some successful activities are listed below. Click on the links for examples and feedback sent in by some of the schools that have celebrated in the past.

Anyone working with teenagers might also be interested in free posters, postcards, factsheets, and other Languages Work goodies designed to highlight to teenagers the advantages of language skills later in life.
