EDL characters

We love our EDL A-Z characters - they are bursting with life and getting very excited in advance of this year's celebrations. They are fun and colourful but can also be used as inspiration for language learning activities. For example, you might get students to describe what is happening in each image or discuss related topics.

If you love the EDL characters as much as we do, you might have wondered what it would be like if they could move around. Wonder no more! Twenty-six favourites have been brought to life. The 26 EDL animations each come with a series of questions to get the discussion started.

We'd love to know how you use the characters, so do let us know!
