In this section we highlight the resources for Higher Education available from CILT.

Publications

CILT Publications produces a range of books for the Higher Education sector which provide access to the latest research findings, expert thinking and good practice. In developing material for publication, CILT works closely with leading language associations and experts in the field, including the Subject Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies, with which it is a partner.

CILT Resources Library Catalogue

The CILT Library catalogue is available on-line. The catalogue allows visitors to search for any resources held in the library collection.

CILT/Subject Centre workshops

Careers and Promoting Study in Higher Education

The following factsheets cover careers and languages, and pursuing languages and related studies at University. They are available for download in PDF format.

A wide range of careers resources for all sectors, including HE, has also been developed as part of the Languages Work campaign. Funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families as part of the National Languages Strategy, the aim of the Languages Work campaign is to promote the true value of languages in the workplace and beyond.
