CILT News Service

Books
CILT books and resources cover the full range of language interests, from early language learning to business and employment, from careers to ICT. Along with practical support and advice for language teachers and trainers, we also provide expert coverage of current policy, issues and debates in the world of language teaching.
Resources library
The Resources library is located in CILT's new premises and has improved facilities for our users. Search the library catalogue, or visit us in person. We welcome group visits by arrangement. All library services are free of charge. If you need help locating the information you require, trained staff at our enquiry desk can help you.
Enquiry service
We answer questions from visitors, over the telephone or by email on the full range of language-related issues, as well as on CILT's courses, publications and other activities.
Ezines
Sign up for our new free ezines and have tailor-made information delivered to your inbox. Our Direct ezines, delivered directly to your inbox, are published three times a year and contain the latest news in the sector, links to good practice examples, information and advice. You could be featured in future ezines, details of how to submit a proposal are included in each issue.
In print
CILT publishes a range of specialist bulletins and newsletters relevant to different sectors and language teaching interests. These provide an important resource for language-teaching professionals, allowing them to keep up to date with developments in their specialist area.
Discussion lists
CILT’s free email discussion lists enable you to exchange ideas with colleagues, as well as providing a forum for virtual networking.
The best known of our lists is the Linguanet forum, for everyone involved in language teaching and research, with a particular focus on UK schools and colleges.
