European Language Portfolio
The Junior version of the European Language Portfolio is a Council of Europe initiative of the European Year of Languages 2001. The final version of the European Language Portfolio and accompanying Teacher's Guide are available in printed format and on-line.
The Portfolio is a record of a pupil's achievements and progress in languages. It is addressed to the pupil.
The portfolio is, therefore:
- an open-ended record of a pupil's achievements in languages
- a document which can be kept by the teacher on behalf of the pupil
- a valuable source of information to aid transfer to the next class or school
The Portfolio and Teacher's Guide are published by CILT and are available by mail order from our distributor: Central Books.
