Winner of the EuroTalk Primary Education Language Prize

This Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) project teaches geography and other curriculum areas using the foreign languages as the medium of communication. It aims to improve performance in both the content subject and the foreign language, with pupils being introduced to French in year 6 with progression ensured at year 7. The project, which has resulted in high levels of student motivation, includes communication with partner schools in Burkino Faso and Canada.
Co-ordinated by London Language College, Elliott School, this project involves eight local feeder primaries.
