Languages work!

The main focus of this Scotland-based project is to promote positive dispositions to language learning and to celebrate the enjoyment to be gained in cultural and lifestyle terms. Promoting the relevance of language learning, Languages work highlights the career opportunities and has developed links with local and national companies. The project’s largest event to date, the Languages work conference saw Scotland football manager, Berti Vogts and MEP Ian Hudghton an audience of 300 hundred students.

The Languages Work! project was co-ordinated by The Gordon Schools and the Aberdeen Business School (Robert Gordon University). The project has been expanded to take in all Aberdeenshire secondary schools.
