Languages for tourism plus

This project consists of four on-line modules designed for people working in tourist information centres, accommodation provision, tourist attractions and transport. The modules cater for intermediate French and beginners German. Developed in response to an identified need for flexible on-line training materials the modules, the project aims to provide learning opportunities which suit the particular requirements of those employed in tourism.
The modules are based on real situations, attractions and locations, cover grammar, vocabulary and structure, and include role plays with sound file recorded by native speakers.
The project is co-ordinated by Nottinghamshire Learning and Skills Council and EMFEC.
