About the European Award for Languages | 2007 winners |
NIACE is happy to support the European Awards for Languages. The National Languages Strategy identifies Adult Learners’ Week as a key opportunity for the promotion of languages to adults and these European awards celebrate the creative ways organisations have to improve the quality, range and diversity of language teaching and training.
NIACE is the National
Institute of Adult Continuing Education and is the national organisation
for adult learning in England and Wales. NIACE is a voluntary organisation
with a membership drawn from right across the spectrum of adult education
provision and from private, public and voluntary sector organisations.
NIACE seeks to represent the interests of adult learners locally, nationally
and internationally. We provide independent advice and guidance and maintain
strong working relationships with education providers, broadcasters, the
press and government.
