The Spanish Embassy Education Office is part of an initiative of the Spanish Government to promote Spanish language and culture worldwide. It supports the teaching of Spanish at all levels in the UK and Ireland through a variety of activities and publications intended to enhance teaching and improve the motivation of students. Publications include a magazine for teachers containing creative ideas for the classroom and an on-line weekly publication of authentic texts and activities for students of all levels. Written and audio-visual resources are available from centres in London, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester and Cardiff. Activities include A level days, teacher training courses and competitions for students.
