This page describes some of the features used in making
this site accessible to all users.
Standards compliance
All pages on this
site comply with priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the World Wide Web
Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
All pages have been validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
All stylesheets have been validated according to the
specification of Level 2 CSS.
Images
All content images used in this
site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics
include null ALT attributes.
Complex images include LONGDESC attributes or inline
descriptions to explain the significance of each image to
non-visual readers.
Links
Links have title attributes that
describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link
already fully describes the target.
Visual design
This site uses only relative
font sizes, compatible with the user-specified 'text size' option
in visual browsers.
This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. If your
browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets, the
content of each page is still readable.
If you are experiencing any problems with the accessibility of
this site, or if you use adaptive technology and have any
suggestions about how we could meet your particular needs, we would
be very pleased to receive your comments.
