The Languages Trends annual reports from CILT focusing on post-14 language study in England are also featured, including the 2005 report to explore provision for community languages in the UK education system.

Key research highlighted includes papers and projects relating to community and lesser-taught languages, across primary, secondary, further, adult, higher and supplementary education, as well as initial teacher training and children’s workforce development. Statistics regarding languages spoken in the UK population, employment trends and the UK and global economy are also provided.
