Students at Musselburgh Grammar School are at the cutting edge of international communications, thanks to this international project which brings together languages, citizenship and ICT.
International relations and languages are brought to life through a range of technologies, including weblogs and more recently podcasts, which allow subscribers to download audio files automatically. These and other resources are regularly accessed on-line by staff and students to help with teaching, homework and revision.

International links, trips abroad and the opportunity for virtual exchanges have had a positive impact on the take-up of languages in terms of students taking a second language in S3 and continuing in S4 and S5. Those involved have a more realistic idea of foreign cultures and a clearer understanding of the similarities between young
people across the world.
