Take 10 en francais and Take 10 en espanol help primary children to practise their language skills whilst engaging in fun daily physical activities.  The booklets and accompanying DVDs and CDs promote activities such as aerobic routines set to traditional songs, dance, brain gymnastics, running and chasing games and activities for small spaces.  Research shows that learning a foreign language at an early age also stimulates the brain.  Activities that combine linguistic and kinaesthetic responses energise connections between the left and right halves of the brain.  Fun and enjoyment also improve children’s learning by reducing anxiety and encouraging risk-taking.
