At the TDA, we are applying these values to Languages, and 2010 is a particularly exciting year for Primary Languages. With many schools already delivering the entitlement for pupils in KS2 to study a foreign language, our primary schools are in an excellent position to make a smooth transition to teaching a language by September 2010, in line with the new curriculum reform. This offers schools a rewarding challenge, and one that the TDA will be supporting through training and development opportunities for the wider school workforce.
