The CILT Resources Library Collection

The CILT Resources Library is a national reference resource for language teachers and others working in the fields of language learning and teaching as well as associated aspects of applied linguistics. It comprises several distinct collections developed over more than 40 years.

You can search all these collections through the library’s online catalogue

The library holds copies of CILT books, past and present.

Donation of Chinese Resources from HANBAN
The Library’s collection of teaching materials in Chinese has been significantly enhanced by a donation of materials (Text/audio/multimedia) from the Hanban Chinese Learning Resource Centre UK.  The donation is a selection from the extensive catalogue of materials (for all educational sectors) published and/or distributed by Hanban, the Office of Chinese Language Council International, responsible for promoting the teaching of Chinese throughout the world.  It reflects cooperation between our two organizations on a number of fronts, and CILT is delighted to acknowledge the donation and express our gratitude. (Readers may recall that the Library mounted a display of Chinese resources during Autumn 2008).
