If you’re teaching or advising on A level
languages, you won’t want to miss this unique national conference,
happening at the end of the month at SOAS, London.
Taking place on 30 June, the A level languages
conference will host a vast range of workshops and information
sessions to help you deliver languages and develop exam skills. It
will cover everything from how to recruit more students onto your
courses, to how to liven up your classes by using short films. And
you’ll pick up some great advice on how to get your students onto
the best HE courses.
You’ll also have the chance to brush up on the
new specs from your exam board (OCR, AQA and Edexcel will be
hosting workshops), find out more about the new Diploma in
Languages and International Communication and think about how to
work with community languages.
It’s an excellent opportunity for A level
teachers and teaching advisers to keep at the forefront of any
developments in the A level and higher education arena.
