CILT has produced a new leaflet for parents who want to support their child in the exciting world of language learning.

Aimed at parents of children who are learning a language at primary school, the leaflet shows how parents can support their child’s learning without having detailed knowledge of the language themselves.

The leaflet contains ideas for games and activities to increase children’s curiosity about languages and to support what they are learning at school. Activities include identifying language on food labels, greeting friends in other languages and practicing holiday vocabulary.
