Schools encouraged to take part in Japan
Webpage contest!
Schools teaching Japanese, or involved in
any project about Japan, are being encouraged to take part in a
webpage competition that could see them winning up to £1000 worth
of prizes.
The competition has been set up to showcase
the great work going on in schools in order to inspire other
teachers to introduce Japanese related studies into their schools
and the wider community.
This contest is open to any UK primary or
secondary school. All you need to do is make a simple webpage about
the work that your school is doing with Japanese or Japan. This
could be a blog, a wiki, or a page that’s part of your school’s
website.
You can enter an existing webpage or create a
new webpage from scratch. Your page can be made by just one
teacher, or by teachers and students working together.
For more information, or to see some current
entries and cast your vote, visit the competition website.
