Business Languages Information Services (BLIS) was designed as a one-stop shop for language and cultural expertise. Maintained by CILT, the National Centre for Languages and its Regional Language Networks, the BLIS suite of services closed in 2007.

BLIS consisted of four main strands:

BLIS Jobs
A site for job seekers with language skills and employers looking to recruit them.

BLIS Professionals
A quality-assured on-line database of providers of translation, interpreting, language training and cultural briefing services located throughout the UK and overseas.

BLIS Courses
An extensive database of language courses across the UK provided with the support of learndirect.

BLIS Facilities
A directory of business language support services.
