Developed by CILT and the British Educational Communications and
Technology Agency (BECTa), with support from the DCSF (then the
DfEE), Lingu@NET was a virtual language centre, providing
quality-assured information and resources on-line for language
teachers, learners and researchers.
The Lingu@NET UK website closed in 2001, however the linguanet-forum and Lingu@net Europa
website which grew from the project are still available.
Linguanet-forum
This is a discussion group for all those involved in language
teaching and research. It aims to enable discussion and information
exchange on the subject of teaching modern foreign languages,
primarily in schools and sixth forms in the UK.
