CILT Resources Library
The Resources Library is where research meets
classroom teaching and learning. As researchers, you can get access
to the most comprehensive and up-to-date teaching resources and
exam materials in the library so that you are aware of what is
going on in classrooms.
You will also find a large collection of
journals not only covering all the major research areas in language
education, teaching and learning, but also specialist journals in
the study of a variety of languages.
In addition, we collect essential readings and
references on linguistics, applied linguistics and languages
covering all sectors of education – all in one place.
Research digests
We carefully select current and significant
research activities in the world of language education, teaching
and learning, ranging from government/independently-funded research
projects to important research articles in leading journals.
The contents vary from surveys and reports on
new government initiatives to the latest developments in the study
of Second Language Acquisition.
Our digests summarise aims/objectives,
methodology and key findings of the research activity. We also
suggest related links for you to follow up.
Statistics and Language Trends surveys
CILT tracks trends in language learning,
teaching and use from primary schools to higher and adult education
as well as in general population.
