The comparative 2008 figure for other curriculum subjects was 76%
for English, 79% for Maths, 76% for Science, 77% for Geography and
79% for Design & Technology.

DCSF ceased collecting teacher assessment data
for non-core subjects at Key Stage 3 after the 2007/08 academic
year, as a part of the continued work on evaluating requirements
for schools to collect and provide data to DCSF. As this data
is no longer collected by the Department it is no longer possible
to publish the related statistics on the DCSF website.

63.6% of all pupils achieved
level 5 or above for languages in the national curriculum Key Stage
3 Teacher Assessments, 55.0% for boys and 72.6% for girls. The
comparative overall figure in 2008 was 62%, 58% in 2007, 56% in
2006, 53% in 2005 and 52% in 2004.
