Celebrate the European Day of Languages by hosting a language
quiz or setting a language challenge. Here are some of our
favourite challenges and quizzes - why not give them a
try!
1. A-Z language challenge
The A to Z Challenge was first launched in 2005 when CILT
produced its A to Z of Languages and
Careers.
It's easy - just identify which languages you can say hello in,
from a to z. Don't worry if you can't do one for each letter of the
alphabet, you might find that you know more than you think!
You can do this on your own, with friends, your whole class,
school or company. Have fun!
Don't forget, the A to Z of languages and activities contains 26
hidden spiders. Download the
spiders pdf to check where they are. (pdf 2.35MB)
2. Linguabat challenge
The LinguaBat is a very special creature with many
talents. LinguaBats love flying around the world making
friends and picking up words and phrases as they go along.
