Taking place during the annual borough-wide Multilingual Month,
this initiative brings EAL and MFL teaching together to engage
students at the school as well as in local primaries. Pupils in EAL
classes become teachers, preparing and delivering lessons in their
mother tongue to local primary school children, who enjoy the
exposure to new languages and cultures. The sessions include
information about the student’s language and culture and introduce
greetings, names, numbers and classroom objects.
