Welcome to
Research in Modern Languages in
the UK
Research in Modern
Languages in the UK started life as an interactive
user-driven database of current research into modern languages
being carried out by researchers in higher education and
other sectors. The project was a joint initiative between
the Institute
of Germanic and Romance Studies, Oxford
Brookes University and CILT,
the National Centre for Languages and came about
as a result of securing funding from HEFCE's Restructuring
and Collaboration Fund.
As of May 2007, the
database function has been discontinued, as there are now other, more
highly populated sites covering similar ground. If you used this site
in the past to list your research, we strongly recommend using one
of the other available sites so that the wider academic community is
aware of your work. See the Listing your Research link. |
