The video clips below shows a KS4 class who are beginners in
Spanish having studied French in KS3. They are working towards an
Entry Level Certificate in Spanish.
The lesson
In this introductory lesson on castles, the students
are learning basic vocabulary connected with the topic. Over a
series of lessons, students will construct their own castle and
give a presentation about it in Spanish. This activity had already
been trialled with a Year 7 CLIL (Content and Language Integrated
Learning) group in French. This clip shows the beginning of the
lesson on castles and is then followed by a short commentary by the
teacher.
