Finance
There may be cover implications as staff will need to accompany students on primary school visits or into lessons in KS3. The MFL department will probably need to fund the cost of the Tutor's pack and the Leaders' individual Log Books. It may be possible to use a school mini-bus to transport the Language Leaders to local primary schools but transport costs to primary schools must be taken into account.

Time
It may be possible to deliver the Language Leaders Award in curriculum time if students are in KS3. For KS4 students, it is likely to have to be an extra-curricular or lunchtime activity. Many schools, like the Harris School have a short  lunchtime break and it is therefore necessary to deliver sessions after school, both for the participating students and to train other members of the MFL department. Planning time for Languages staff involved in the initiative will be necessary before introducing the award.
