Edexcel offers a GCSE in Applied French.
- This qualification offers learners an opportunity to develop
French language skills in specialist contexts
(business, leisure and tourism or
media and communications)
- A single award GCSE as well as two '2-skills' short courses are
available. The latter focus either on oral communication (speaking
and listening) or written communication (reading and writing).
The full course GCSE consists of three units, places emphasis on
the application of productive skills, recognises ongoing
classroom-based teacher assessment and features onscreen listening
and reading assessment. Candidates can access the complete range of
grades (G-A*).
