The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust has appointed four
Lead Practitioners around the country for the GCSE in Applied
French. They are Matt Connor (Piggott School), Mark Penfold
(Babington Community Technology College)Jill Rowell (Park View
Community School) and Sarah Ward (Heles School. Their details can
be found on the
SSAT website.
Matt Connor is the
coordinator for all the SSAT Lead Practitioners for GCSE in Applied
French. He is creating and publishing teaching and assessment
resources for the course on his Applied French Revision
website.
A coursebook has been produced for the Leisure and Tourism
context. This is called 'Contexte' and is published by
Heinemann.
