The National Strategies have produced on online CPD learning unit on target language use. This can be used by language departments to help their staff move forward as a consistent team with target language use. 

The CILT publication 'You speak, they speak. Focus on target language use' by Barry Jones, Susan Halliwell and Bernardette Holmes has a wealth of ideas on effective use of the target language.
