CILT, the National Centre for Languages in partnership with the DCSF has invited each local authority in England to submit an action plan to set up a Strategic Learning Network (SLN). The aim is to build on the successes of the Key Stage 3 Dissemination and Development Programme and to continue to support the improvement of teaching and learning particularly in light of the renewed KS3 framework. As the SLN programme develops between now and June 2010 we will be adding further resources and updates to these pages, including case studies.
