CILT, the National Centre for Languages in partnership with the Department for Education has invited each local authority in England to submit an action plan to set up a Strategic Learning Network (SLN). The aim is to build on the successes of the Key Stage 3 Dissemination and Development Programme and to continue to support the improvement of teaching and learning particularly in light of the renewed KS3 framework.
