Information for Lead Professionals
The following information is aimed at Local Authority Lead Professionals and the Lead Teacher of the Strategic Learning Networks (SLN).

Final evaluation (due 11th June 2010)
Each SLN will need to produce a final evaluation by 11th June 2010.

Lead Teacher guidance
The Lead Teacher guidance document (doc, 307KB) aims to provide advice and support for Lead Teachers in MFL Strategic Learning Networks. It examines some of the issues that may arise for Lead Teachers as they work with a group of MFL teachers from other schools and how they can organise the activities they have planned for the SLN, including a possible agenda for a launch meeting for the network.

Interim evaluation (due 12th February 2010)
This provides an opportunity for the members of each SLN to revisit their action plan and reflect on the impact of SLN activity. We are particularly interested in how the work of each SLN had (measurable) impact on pupil achievement has helped to embed and disseminate the renewed KS3 Framework for languages.

We have requested that the Lead Professional carry out the evaluation in consultation with all members of the SLN before returning a copy to the relevant Regional Trainer by 12^th February 2010.
