The CILT Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) is a teacher training programme for native speakers of French, Spanish and German who want to teach languages in a secondary setting. It is an employment-based route where day-to-day work in your school is combined with regular training sessions.

We have training schools in most English regions and training centres in London,
Sheffield and Birmingham. Successful completion of the GTP leads to Qualified Teacher Status which qualifies you to teach in secondary schools in England.

We are an accredited provider of Initial Teacher Education and have been providing GTP training since 1998.
