European Economic Area (EEA) nationals who are recognised as qualified school teachers in an EEA member state may apply for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England without the need for further training. Contact the General Teaching Council (GTC) for further information and an application form.

Note that if you apply for QTS you will be ineligible to apply for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programmes, such as the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
