Applications for the 2012-2013 programme are invited online via the online application portal on the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) website.

From 1st January 2012, applications to the CILT Languages GTP should use the East Lincolnshire GTP application portal, as the CILT Languages GTP is one of two training options within the East Lincolnshire GTP.  You will be asked to state in your personal statement that your application is to the CILT Languages GTP - see the guidance notes for more details.

Once on the East Lincolnshire GTP provider details page, scroll down and click on the green button marked 'Apply'.

Guidance on completing your online application is available here.  It is essential that you follow these guidelines carefully when completing your online application.  Applications that do not follow these guidelines may not be considered, or you may be asked to reapply.

The applications portal will be open for applications between 14 December 2011 and 30 March 2012.  All applications received between these dates will be assessed equally.

Timetable for selection for the 2012-13 GTP:

• Online applications invited via the TDA GTP applications portal - 14 December 2011 to 30 March 2012
• Notification of initial shortlisting decisions - January to May 2012
• Interviews for shortlisted candidates - March to early June 2012
• School panel interviews for candidates applying without a training school - June 2012
• Confirmation of acceptance - June 2012
• Training starts (short familiarisation course) - June 2012
• School-based training starts - September 2012
